Revo Uninstaller takes what may seem like a simple task of uninstalling an application and improves the process that much more while keeping the same ease of use you’d expect.
How many times have you tried to uninstall an application but you can’t find it in control panel, or you uninstall an application only to find remnants of it in your hard drive and so on.
Revo Uninstaller Pro fixes that by ensuring when you uninstall an app it gets rid of all files from program files to temporary ones. Use it to remove unwanted programs easily and efficiently. Saving you hard drive space, time, and the hassle of dealing with those pesky programs that just won’t remove themselves properly.
What is Revo Uninstaller Pro?
Revo Uninstaller makes the process of removing software easy and efficient. It does this by scanning and assuring that apps are fully removed and any files that were left behind are taken care of.
Using sophisticated algorithms to ensure that things like configuration files, temporary cache, registry files and more are all removed along with the app. You can quickly uninstall one app or use the bulk removal feature to remove multiple apps at once and free up drive space.
The app presents you with all the apps installed on your computer. Sorting out by newly installed apps and other programs. From there you can simply select the apps you want to remove and run a variety of removal methods. Whether it’s a quick uninstall, uninstall, or forced uninstall.
The differences between the three are as follows:
Quick Uninstall: Simply removes the app and scans for files in system folders, registry, etc to ensure all related files are removed. Quick uninstall will automatically delete these files.
Uninstall: Removes the application while also running a scan to ensure all files that may be lingering are removed. Through this process the user has options on the removal. Controlling things such as scanning methods (How the app looks for leftover files) and so on.
Forced Uninstall: This is used for apps that were already uninstalled however have leftover files or wasn’t fully deleted. Useful for pesky apps that leave behind other aspects of the software.

My Experience with Revo Uninstaller Pro
In my time using Revo Uninstaller to rid my drive of programs I had a great experience with the application. The trial offers full functionality which is a nice touch when testing any paid app.
I used it to remove a couple of old applications I wasn’t using anymore and each time ran the “Moderate” scan option which performs an extended scan through the system to find all application data and remove it. In each instance it found additional files and removed them safely without affecting the operating system.
Another point worth mentioning is each time before it removes an app it creates a system restore point as well as a registry backup which is a great reassurance in the event anything critical is ever to get removed or you need to revert back to a previous state.
Safe guards like these are what make Revo Uninstaller Pro already better than the typical windows uninstaller.
I even used this software to install programs.
Simply selecting the .exe file from an app I wanted to install and ensuring it got installed and verified that all files that were installed went to their proper locations and optimized so that when it is time to remove them it would be just as easy as a click.
Personally I enjoyed using the Revo Uninstaller Pro interface as it allowed me to handle everything in bulk. It’s a great app for an occasional cleaning of your PC. Giving you the most disk space back while making the removal process of apps simple, yet efficient with its advanced scanning algorithm.
The app works in a series of simple steps depending on what type of removal you’re looking for.
If you’re looking to remove remnants of an app that wasn’t fully uninstalled then you can run a Forced Uninstall and input the app name and provide the path to the previously installed app. This will then seek through to find any related files.
You simply select the app from the interface and uninstall. Pick the scanning method of your choice from a safe mode to “Advanced”. These vary in how deep you want the app to scan for related files. Then the app will prompt the uninstall wizard of the app for you and that’s it!
Compared to the typical uninstaller wizard that windows offer this is much more featured packed. Offering various uninstall options, scanning methods to get every related file, log databases that show a report of everything removed, down to the fact it creates restore and registry backups as a precaution something windows doesn’t include.
While it differs from the super simplicity of control panel the app is still very straight forward for most users. Giving you options from a simple quick uninstall button to advanced features for the users who really want to get in depth and ensure a full removal of an app. A highly visual interface with informational guides along the way to explain what each feature does.
Why use Revo Uninstaller Pro vs the regular Windows Uninstaller?
So you may be thinking why do I need this when windows control panel has a built in removal process?
A good point!
However Revo Uninstall is much more than a removal app. The added functionality lies in its technology. The app scans the apps folder and any related apps to ensure all files get removed not just the main application which is very common with windows uninstaller.
Furthermore it helps force removing those apps that don’t want to uninstall or have annoying removal wizards. Saving you time by giving you the ability to bulk remove apps all while offering an interface that’s simple and guides you along the way.
Is it worth the Price?
It’s without a doubt worth it, however you have to keep in mind the licenses are based off per computer so 1 computer at $39.25 . There are cheaper plans for 3 and 5 computers, it only cost you $19.62 each for total $ 58.56 and $ 98.10 respectively .
It can get a little confusing from there when Revo Uninstaller Pro Portable (Cost $69.25) comes in. Basically the portable version can be used across multiple machines but locked to one user. This system gets a bit confusing and could stand to be cleaned up.
While you're getting a lot more than a removal wizard, its price is something that could scare away some users.
In the end Revo Uninstaller takes something that Windows does have built-in or you have the ability to do manually; it just takes those processes and simplifies it saving you the time and hassle in clearing your hard drive. The process of application removal made simple while including advanced features under the hood.
If you care about maintaining your PC’s health and or looking for a utility to clean up that drive and old applications, then look no further, Revo Uninstaller Pro is all that you need.
